About the Study Groups
The Way of the Heart Study Group meetings generally consist of study and discussion around a remarkable transcript and self-study process that can have a profound impact on how you perceive yourself, your life and your relationship with the universe. Sharing of experiences and insights into spiritual life is also another strong feature of these gatherings.
By reading and reflecting upon The Way of the Heart material, group members encounter and share many new, liberating and sometimes challenging concepts. The Way of the Heart invites your heart to awaken fully as you begin to more fully embrace your real “Self” and your fears and unhealthy beliefs are released.
The Study Groups usually meet weekly, but the day, time and format may change over time to meet the specific requirements of the members of a particular group. Although there is a facilitator for the group, the Study Group Leader, each participant is both a student and teacher – we are all equal on this pathway together. The role of the Study Group Leader is to create and hold the space for the meetings, and each participant is encouraged to take an active role in developing the group.
Active participation in the group and application of the teachings will have a significant impact on both your life and everyone you encounter. You are in fact making a proactive choice to empower the truth that will carry humanity forward into the next major step of enlightenment. As you, and everyone you touch, makes a step forward in personal growth, the group consciousness is altered for the better, affecting all of humanity.
The Way of the Heart Study Groups also provide the opportunity for you to connect with other like-minded people. As human beings, our most basic desire is to love and be loved unconditionally. Our natural inclination is to mutually support one another. In this way, the Study Groups powerfully counteract the isolation experienced by many people in modern society, and bring us gently once more into alignment with the principles of true community.
Many of us are now ready and eager to reconnect to our true selves as the powerful beings that we really are, and to assist others in doing the same. In reconnecting to who we are, we connect to our Oneness, which is the source of our power.
